You fit into me
like a hook into an eye
A fish hook
An open eye.

The title is the main idea of the poem, which is developed in the poem by comparison.

Hook: A curved or sharply bent device, usually of metal, used to catch, drag, suspend, or fasten something else.

There's a relation between "eye" and "hook", they are use complementary to express the meaning of the text.

In this poem, the author uses different conceptions of the word "eye" and "hook", meaning to a human eye and a fishing hook.

The poem is basically a simile where the author compare his relationship with a person, with a fishing hook in hies eye. I also think that is an irony, because a hook into the eye is something that bothers you and causes you pain, sow the relationship will be bad.

There's no rhyme ore syllables pattern at all.

The poem can be interpreted as an insult, ore a need to separate from the other personae (angry).

The poem was written by a woman, who maybe had problem with some she love , an then she heated him. Maybe the other person wasn't in love with her so she become angry.

There's an ambiguity between the first two lines and the last two lines. First it express a compliment, and then it describe it's real meaning (that he hates him)

The chief paradox or irony is there to represent anger to the person who was supposed to be the ideal love for her, and turn into someone she hates.

Everything supports the idea of the hook into the eye that express fury against the person.
